Cross-post YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and Reels for free

How to cross-post one 9:16 short to YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and Reels without pasting the same caption everywhere. Free workflow inside ShortsToAll.

Cross-post means one file, native copy

Cross-posting a short-form video is not uploading the same MP4 three times with the same paragraph. YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and Instagram Reels each want a different title, a different caption, and a different set of tags. The picture can be the same. The words should not be.

ShortsToAll is a free workspace for that job. You drop one 9:16 master. Auto-generate SEO writes a version for each network from the same script. You edit anything that sounds off, then publish the ones you have connected.

What to keep the same

Keep the vertical frame, the hook in the first second, and the idea. A quiet coffee clip stays a quiet coffee clip on every app. Do not recut a new master unless the platform length limit forces you to.

YouTube Shorts wants the video under 60 seconds. Instagram and Facebook Reels are comfortable under 90. TikTok can run longer, but the same short file is easier to cross-post when it already fits the strictest limit you care about.

What to change on every network

Shorts titles carry the search words and a #shorts tag. TikTok captions are shorter, more spoken, and lean on a couple of discovery tags. Reels captions can be a little more polished and still include a save-worthy line. Facebook Reels can ask a question. Those are different sentences, not a find-and-replace.

The free generator in the workspace does that split for you when you have a script or a transcript. If you would rather write by hand, each column is still editable. Cross-posting stays free either way.

A free path you can run today

Open the publish workspace, confirm the sample short or drop your own 9:16 file, and run Auto-generate SEO. Read each caption. Open the studio if the frame needs a title or a tighter crop. Export, then come back and publish.

Live upload to your own YouTube channel needs a Google connection. Until that is on, Connect still walks the demo flow so you can learn the cross-post without paying for a scheduler.
