The free voice needs no key
Edge voices speak the script without an extra account. Pick a voice, set volume and speed, and preview the voice alone before you spend a full render. No voiceover is also a choice if the clip should stay silent under music.
That preview is the check for short-form pacing. If the read is too slow, raise the speed. If a sentence is clumsy, fix the script and preview again. The voice is free to retry.
Other voices are optional
Gemini, MiniMax, ElevenLabs, and similar names work only when that provider is already configured on the generator, for example gemini:Kore. They are not required for AI short-form creation. The free path stays on Edge.
Language can stay on auto or follow the script. The publish workspace can still show the app in English, French, or Arabic after the file exists. The voice language and the site language are separate.
